About Solène Le Roux

I live in Paris where I started designing knitwear after studying History and History of Arts, and briefly working in TV production. 

My designs are published in magazines and yarn company collections such as Knit Picks, Pom Pom Quaterly, Holla Knits, Knit Now and Knotions.

I also have a collection of self-published designs available through Ravelry.

Crafts are for me a family tradition. My grandmother was a profesional dressmaker and I spent my childhood playing with spools of thread and fabric. My mother is more a knitter, and she is the one who taught me how to knit when I was a kid.

Knitting is my passion, and I'm very happy to make it my carreer. I hope I can share this passion with you by providing you with patterns you'll want to knit and wear for a long time.

J'habite à Paris où j'ai commencé à créer des modèles de tricot après des études d'Histoire et d'Histoire de l'Art et un bref passage par le monde de l'audiovisuel.

Mes modèles sont publiés dans des magazines et des collections de marques de laines comme Knit Picks, Pom Pom Quaterly, Holla Knits, Knit Now et Knotions.

J'ai également une collection de modèles auto-publiés disponibles sur Ravelry.

Le fait-main pour moi, c’est une histoire de famille. Ma grand-mère était couturière professionnelle et j’ai passé mon enfance à jouer avec les bobines de fil et les tissus. Ma mère est plus tricoteuse et c’est elle qui m’a appris quand j’étais petite.

Le tricot est ma passion, et je suis très heureuse de pouvoir en faire mon métier. J'espère pouvoir partager cette passion avec vous en vous proposant des modèles que vous aurez envie de tricoter et de porter pendant très longtemps.
